Meeting Minutes, accomplishments, Risks/Issues, Next Steps

Minutes of the Board meeting on 11/20 at Basement, 51 Hendrickson Drive, Belle Mead

Attendees : Big Ben, Binod

Apologies: Shawn, Steve
  1. Ben is nigh impossible to beat in ping-pong. You may win a game here and there, but to beat him a series, takes 2 strategies:
                a) Play with him after he eats (heavy Indian meal)
                 b) Pretend to smash the ball so hard that he gets scared that the bat might slip out of your hand
2.    Keep the pimpled bat away from him, as he is very good with it.
3.    The outcome of the night resulted with lot of Ws for Ben, who owns genuine chinese ping pong genes
4.     Displeasure was expressed at the work environment, esp with the DRT team.

Action Items:
1. Next Board meeting to be convened asap with the remanining missing members. (Binod)

Risks:
1. Shawn is known to get violent with a bat/club. In a limited indoor location, the ping pong bat could be lethal in his hand, esp if playing doubles. His partner needs to check his health insurance, and if not covered, jack it up for 2008.

Issues:
1. 5 year old Rajan wants to watch the ping pong match, and then roll his car on the table in the middle of a rally.

Made it again to the top. Can't believe it. I was all ready to give up at the first climb...

Pablo and John waiting at the top for Mayank and Justo to show up. Braving the very cold and string winds. These guys are good. Not only they ran most of the time, they can take the cold too. At times, while coming up.. had my hands stretched out and I had to use half the energy to push myself up because if the winds.. and other times was scared that winds will push me over the edge.

There you go.. ending with a big run towards the finish... or is it ? We are only half way there... so, save your energy. No need to show off.

There you go.. you see Mayank emerging from behind the slope... slow and steady he's getting there.. not ready to give up yet :-)

Still working on the climb... last slope to go....

As usual Pablo was first to reach third bench. Then Justo and then John. They take a rest waiting for Mayank to turn up.....hopefully soon.

Second time in 2 weeks we head towards the peak. This time it's Pablo G, John K, Justo G and Mayank Raja. It was a good day. Cold, very very high winds. Justo and Mayank decided to go with sweat-shirts. Pablo and John were going to brave the cold air at the top.

It was a perfect day to climb. We were in the clouds at the top @ 2517 feet. Unlike 08/29 when it was one of the hottest days and at noon time we were running like bunch of loonies. Not today though...
Thats's me.. almost there...
